***Gracie’s Giveback Recipient – Unleashed Pet Rescue and Adoption***
American Dog recognizes that there are many dogs in shelters and rescues around the country that are in need and we wanted to make sure our business was able to give something back. Inspired by our dog, Gracie and her passion to play, we started Gracie’s Giveback - a program dedicated to supporting rescues around the country.
American Dog will donate $1 for every toy or product sold through loveamericandog.com to a chosen rescue every quarter. It’s our way of helping the amazing folks who run these non-profit companies meet the growing needs they face.
This quarter we selected a rescue out of Mission, Kansas; Unleashed Pet Rescue and Adoption. They are a licensed, non-profit animal shelter that works to save the lives of homeless pets and strives to improve the image of bully breeds in society. In 2016, they saved over 5,000 animals and over 15,000 in the 5 years they have been in operation. They also work daily with high kill shelters in the Kansas City area, as well as in Oklahoma, Missouri and Texas to pull “unwanted” pets to safety.
